On Saturday I got to take a class with the uber talented Joanne Basile over at my LSS. She's a DT member at My Favorite Things. I've so wanted to take a class of hers but something kept coming up! Well I finally made it to one of her classes and I made this Favorite Things card and two other really awesome cards (and then bought three kits to make more hee-hee). I also got inspired to finish using up some of the supplies I got in the kit club kit I last month from my LSS.
So here's my take on Joanne's card using it as a sketch. The papers were in my kit club kit and are from Fancy Pants Lilac House line, except the pink paper which is from a Memory Box card base.
The teapot image and diecut is from PTI. The sentiment, frame and diecut are all part of this set from MFT.
So mine is on the left and Joanne's is on the right. Whatcha think?
Thanks for stopping by today! Who have you "lifted/cased/sketched" lately and how did it turn out? Make sure to stop by tomorrow for the new TTT challenge! :)
I'm cooking up some fun with my grateful card here:
