It's another fabulous Top Tip Tuesday!  This week our challenge to you is to show off your valentine creations.

Aren't these a fun!!!  The "snowman" is Eclipse gum. :)  A Stamp Club friend showed me how to make these back in December.  A Pinterest inspired creation, so by default I made something seen on Pinterest.  Whoo-hoo!

I made four of these, so each gal in our room gets one for Valentine's Day.  I wanted each one to look a little different, but I don't know which one should go to which gal!

I think I may put them all on the table and have to gals decide who gets which. :)  Profile in courage, I am. LOL!

All the wonderful embellies came from this Paper Bakery kit.  They have the most delicious kits!!!!!

Then I just had to make one more (these are addictive!) that seemed like a romantic one.  I used it as a thank you for a gal who made a purchase from my Etsy store. :)

So Sketchy

This week over at Top Tip Tuesday we are hosting a sketch challenge and there are choices!

I chose the CAS sketch.  Not sure I stayed very CAS, but I wanted to use these colors cause I've had the PTI paper and the card base all cut and ready to go for ages!  Pretty excited that I am using some stash, didn't use any of my chipboard letters though.  Back to the drawing board to try again to work on that New Years resolution. :(

Continuing on the good news front, I was able to make 4 cards for 4 different uses!  The dies are a combination of PTI and MFT.  The ribbon?  No idea, sorry. :(  The sentiments are all Amuse and I LOVE how easy they are to use!!!

Last Christmas Post for a lil' bit :)

Really, I promise no more Christmas posts for at least 2 weeks!  I have a resolution to get like 20 cards made by the end of this month.  But I digress...

This is the another album that I made just before break. A co-worker had a little boy last spring and this is his first Christmas.  Gosh this really is the year of first Christmas albums for me.  Huh, just thought of that.  Wow the holidays really did knock it out of me!

The reason I am posting this now is to encourage y'all to join the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge.  We've gone to bi-weekly challenges and to launch the new format we are hosting an Anything Goes Challenge!

Pull out and post something you made over the holidays, or something you made after the December hustle and bustle slowed down.

Pile o books

More paper piecing!  These were fun (and work!).  The different patterns and colors make me so happy. :)

Of course the fact that she is reading while sitting on a stack of books doesn't hurt my love for her either. :)  Top Tip Tuesday is hosting our last Anything Goes Challenge of 2011, so dig out a fav image of yours and have at it!

Silver, White, and...

It's TUESDAY and it has been quite a while since I have been able to join my teamies in sharing a Top Tip Tuesday Challenge.  Gosh I am glad November is over.  I always forget just how crazy it is with conferences and Thanksgiving- then top it off this year with the power outage from the storm U-G-H!  Can't complain too much though.  My DH's family helped deck our halls this weekend (the house looks A-Maz-Ing) and I have only one more conference (first time in 10 years that I will be done as early as Dec 7th!!!!- hope I didn't just jinx myself!)  Anywho- on to the challenge!!!

This week your challenge is a color challenge.  Silver, white, and a hint of... well you get to choose your color hint.  I dug out a wicked old kit club set (seriously I think it is from Dec 09) and it had silver paper.  Yahooey!  I made a ton of stuff yesterday, these tags fit the bill though. :)

My hint has two colors ice aqua and poinsettia red.  Luscious!!!  Makes me think of a fancy cocktail party from the 40's and 50's.  I couldn't help adding a little more bling with the silver tinsel for tag ties. :)

Layers 'n Tags

It's Tuesday, so that means it is Top Tip Tuesday time!  This week the challenge is to "layer it up".  I've got more tags and more goods from that kit I've created with this past month.

All the papers 'n tags are from Kaiser and the papers were die cut using PTI dies.  I added a touch more spice to the right side of the orange paper by stamping it with a branch stamp from Memory Box.  The glitter on the cardboard part of the tag is Tim Holtz distress Stickles.  That way the glitter stays put- not that I mind a little glitter on me-self. ;)

Here's the whole lot together.  Seemed like if I had the stuff, I might as well make as many as I could.  What'cha gonna make for the layering challenge?
