A Rose of Thanks

Good Morning!  Thought I'd share a fun and easy thank you card.  It uses one of my last pretty Wilton cupcake doilies.  The ones they made before they changed the design. :( I use the new ones, but they aren't as pretty as these really lacy ones.

I am pleased that everything I used was something I have been hoarding for a bit. :) It's a more subtle mellow palette and I kinda like that.  This isn't a combo I would have put together usually and I'm really liking how it turned out!

What unexpected colors or overall creation have you used/ created lately?

Gift Tag Tuesday!

Good Morning Peeps! Thought I would share some tag inspiration.  I made a bunch of different tags, so I thought I'd take the next few Tuesdays to share them. :) I figure it is never to early to start getting ready for gift giving, particularly since where I live we currently have 6 FEET of snow.  I know at some point it will be hotter than blazes, but since it looks kinda Christmas I thought it was best to embrace the cold and use it as inspiration.

Today I thought I'd share some cheerful red present tags.  I've made a few versions of these in the past and they are always such fun to make.  Way better than wrapping the gift.  I am AWFUL at wrapping.  I often have my husband do it and then I decorate the boxes.  LOL!

Well,  I love me some plaid and these tags do the trick!  These were made thanks to the help of my cricut.  I'd love to get a silhouette, but I'm running out of room in my little studio.  Gonna have to stick it out with the circuit 'til it dies. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!  See you soon!

Tea Party!

This is one of my favorite stamps!  It so reminds me of coloring in coloring books as a kid and it is even better because I can keep coloring this image in different ways. :)

I had a customer request a few for her "little old ladies group", that's her quote not mine!  She wanted some birthday cards with this image and I had soooo much fun making them that I went a little nuts and made something like 10 more!  I've loaded them in my Etsy shop for Mother's Day. :)

I'll try to put a montage together later.  In the meantime, you can check out some of my previous versions here and here.  In getting this post ready I tried to find other pics of what I have done with this stamp and could only find these two!  I'm pretty surprised because I know I have used this a bunch.  I'll have to do some more searching!!

What's your favorite way to enjoy tea?  Mine might be a bit of honey in some chamomile tea just before bed. :)

June Lobsters!

Well, did you think I dropped off the planet?!?  I have been buried in 6 FEET of snow up here in Massachusetts.  The good part of that is that I have been busy crafting and I am finally getting around to sharing. :)

It's been crazy with snow, so I just had to share this much more beach inspired set of cards.  I had a request from an Etsy customer to make a June birthday card, so I made an extra too!  The best part is that I used lots of bits I already had ready.  I was going to make something else, but it just never looked like I wanted.  Then I got the month themed birthday stamps from PTI and voilà!  Love when that happens!!!

I have some pics of all the snow, but honestly I haven't the heart to share them right now.  It's actually a balmy 30 degrees (that's Fahrenheit), so we are going to take the pup for a nice walk.  Once it stops snowing that is!

Enjoy your Sunday Peeps!
